The Committee discussed issues related to the staff-pattern , collected suggestions from lik-minded teaching staff members of IHRD, consolidated suggestions and submitted to the Director, IHRD on 29..05..12 .

The Background......
IHRD ( Institute of Human Resources Development) is an autonomous educational institution established by the Government of Kerala during 1987 To provide education and training of consistently high stands through innovative and versatile programs that are responsible to the current and emerging needs of the community. During late 1990's it's employees united to form " IHRD Employees Union" which succeeded in creating fair working conditions under IHRD and in this respect we all are liable to IHRD EU. But during 2006-2012 the picture of EU has been changed due to selfish leadership who sacrificed group interests for their own benefits . This led us to form a forum to stand-up for our rights - Hence the IHRD Teaching Staff Union

The Begining .......
In a meeting convened to discuss issues related to teachers (other than engineering colleges) at Eranakulam on 26..05..2012, it is decided to form a forum to namely "IHRD Teaching staff Union" and constituted a co-ordination committee to lead initial organizational tasks
